Bring us the colour you desire and we'll match it
Using the GretagMacbeth Colour Eye, we can scan in anything with a smooth surface and find a colour to match it.
Our in-store computer will scan most samples of colour. If you bring in a piece of card, fabric, carpet, wood , tile or anything credit card sized, we will, with our Spectrophotometer match it.
Once we have mixed your paint according to your specification we suggest you take a sample pot and trial it in the chosen area, keep the sample in the area you want to paint for a few days, test it in different lights and at different times. Once you are sure you like the colour we can save your own personal formula on the Spectrophotometer database for your future reference.
If the colour isn’t exactly right, you may want more blue, white, maybe black, come back in and we will tweak the formulae, we aim to please and want you to be happy with your mix.
ColourEye XTS Spectrometer
If you can't bring a sample of the colour you desire into the shop you can utilise the portable spectrometer FREE for a 24-hour period to take away with you. It's easy to use and will give a colour match in a matter of seconds
A refundable deposit against loss or damage will be taken for the use of the scanner. A charge will be levied for periods over 24 hours.
